Mara Sampson

Hi, I’m Dr. Mara Sampson, founder of OT Kid LLC. I believe the world is better when we’re all engaged in occupation—doing something, with someone else, that matters. My background includes outpatient and school-based therapy, fueled by the belief that meaningful occupation enriches our lives, our communities, and our health. I love teaming with you to help make those meaningful moments happen for you and your kids. I help with problem-solving to find practical solutions that support your goals and make participation easier and more enjoyable. I offer adult yoga and mindfulness because self-regulation starts with adults. For older children and caregivers, I provide occupational performance coaching to help you see that you already have what it takes to solve challenges—you just need a little extra support to realize it. For kids, I offer direct, evidence-based services focused on motor planning, interoception, and sensory self-regulation. I meet you in your home, community, or via telehealth, so support happens where life really happens—because the environment matters. Together, we’ll create meaningful change tailored to your family’s unique journey.
